TCP Partners with GM for Ventilator Manufacturing

Concord, North Carolina (July 21, 2020) – Masks and other PPE are not the only items Thermal Control Products has been producing in the fight against the Novel Coronavirus. In late March, TCP answered the call to construct thermal mount barrier heat shields in partnership with Ventec Life Systems and General Motors for their life-saving multi-function ventilators.

While Thermal Control is known for protective covers and custom thermal blankets, when GM called for immediate release of thousands of units, TCP responded with extended hours, expediting raw materials, and purchasing further tooling to meet their needs.  As of July 1st, Thermal Control has shipped over 30,000 units for Project V.

Thousands of ventilators have been assembled at the Kokomo, IN Plant since the beginning of April.  As cases per day continue to rise in the US, we are prepared with the proper personnel and equipment to arm healthcare professionals with the tools needed to save lives.
